Food Handler Course

The “Texas Food Establishment Rules (TFER)” was revised and updated and will be effective October 11, 2015.  A major change in the revision now requires all food employees to complete an accredited food handlers training program within 60 days of employment, effective September 16, 2016. Private Pesticide Applicator Training

Washington County Expo (Extension Office) 1305 East Blue Bell Rd, Brenham

Private Pesticide Applicator Training will be held on April 10, 2024, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. This course is for those who wish to obtain a Private Pesticide Applicator License with the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA). Along with the course, you will receive the Texas Private Applicator Manual (B-1648) and the Laws and Regulations manual (B-5056).
